Wind power

We spent this morning fitting French doors to the lodge extension.Given the 60-80mph winds, attempting to fit would be more accurate. The accompanying hail and rain could I suppose be considered an extra added bonus that just topped off the start of a perfect working day!

Wow, that's going to look great (I miss those old houses...just look at that original brick!) Batten down the hatches

The wind blew down our comms mast linking fort Perch Rock radar to Cammell Lairds, 4" Ally mast just bent , I admit it was carrying 2 small micro wave links, the radar guys had to leave it as they would have flown away without wings if they tried to fix it, the causeway was like walking inside a sand blaster, we also lost 4ft off the end of the ham radio mast had a look when the tide went out but nothing, we also lost our longwire antenna to the light house, it ended up being a crab line, will try next week to annoy you, it's still looking nice.
