More kit

The Lewis has been around unchanged now for more than 2000 years, moving stone for churches, castles and buildings both great and small. I used a Lewis last week to move my gate pillars into place and even though I've used one before I am always amazed at the simplicity and efficacy of the device...it reminds me of me, particularly the simple bit.

Did they always call it The Lewis or did a bloke called Lewis re-name it that? I must rename something like that with my name...let's start with Apple?

Ah The Lewis. My Grandfather always had one in his workshop - when he bought a little Cooper race car for sprints, it was jolly useful in drawing off the barrels of its 1100cc JAP engine.
