The Lewis has been around unchanged now for more than 2000 years, moving stone for churches,castles and buildings both great and small. I used a Lewis last week to move my gate pillars into place and even though I've used one before I am always amazed at the simplicity and efficacy of the device...it reminds me of me, particularly the simple bit.

More kit
The Lewis has been around unchanged now for more than 2000 years, moving stone for churches,castles and buildings both great and small. Did they always call it The Lewis or did a bloke called Lewis re-name it that? I must rename something like that with my name...let's start with Apple?
Ah The Lewis. My Grandfather always had one in his workshop - when he bought a little Cooper race car for sprints, it was jolly useful in drawing off the barrels of its 1100cc JAP engine.
You, efficacious? I was gonna say!
Must be foreign workmen, they have all the health&safety work-kit on!
