Off we go
Family OTW are off in a few hours to our adopted Californian hometown of Walnut creek for some much need fun,sun and rest. So I leave blighty with another local tune and views (grandmother OTW still likes to take the little uns on the ferry shown)....next post is from sunny lala land.
Mr/Mrs/Mizz or other, Anon suggest you move to a much nicer country than the USA, I would suggest Saudia Arabia but a visa would be hard to get, I suggest Afghanistan, if you joined the US army you could go free, no American women, the rest in a bag with holes in for the eyes, it would be a good turn on for your rehabilitation to sanity.
That film was taken before PM Heath stole Birkenhead and Wallasey and changed our county from Cheshire to something taken out of a hat and called Merseyside, this made up county then stole our ferry boats and buses and painted them in a yucky green and gave them to a place called Liverpool we got the wrecks from that place, after a while the ex Birkenhead ferry boats were taken out of service one by one and rebuilt at a place called Mode wheel Manchester and renamed to the old Wallasey ferry boatsnames ,they then sold off the old Wallasey ferry boats and made a great mistake with the most famous one the Royal Iris, the fabulous fish and chip barge, they sold the name as well, the one Birkenhead ferry is now called the Royal Iris of the Mersey, the real Royal Iris is partially sunk every time the tide comes on the river Thames, last year the old ferry had full emergency services attending because it water over the stern and it was an ex ferry they had to check it out.
