One of the boyos

One of my daily reads is the informative and entertaining American political blog powerline. This post on Powerline however had me fuming, as it is just one of many in the various American media outlets I have read that excuse the past (?) behaviour of Rep Peter King. King is holding controversial hearings (controversial if you are a terrorist loving liberal) into islamic terrorism in an attempt to discover its penetration into American society and hopefully perhaps find some sort of a resolution to the threat we face from home grown Islamic terrorists. The problem for me however is that King is a long time supporter of the murderers and gangsters that call themselves the IRA. He does so I suppose an attempt to garner votes from the Irish American voters of his district. Stating that nobody feared being killed in Times square by the IRA may be valid but on the streets of Northern Ireland and England the opposite was true. The pic above shows Manchester city centre devastated by an IRA bomb only a couple of hours after I had finished shopping in the soon to be destroyed shops. I don't feel that one gets to choose terrorists....they are all murdering cowardly shits...all of them, and Mr King would do well to reflect upon his past sins.

Bloody farce.

Beset on all sides with financial and social problems,the nulabour government and its attendant caravan of lunatics and appeasers has yet again put its foot in it. In its wisdom the government has taken under consideration the recommendations of a report on the victims of terror in Northern Ireland. It seems the terrorist murderers of the IRA and various unionist thugs will be entitled to the same payouts as their victims...all must have prizes hey? Not content with letting psychopathic murderers into government it seems we must equate those who died at the hands of terrorists with those twisted men of violence who caused so much carnage in the first place....just who does this benefit?

Captain Robert Nairac died at the hands of IRA terrorists after being tortured to reveal his contacts within the terrorist ranks.His last words before he died were spoken to a terrorist masquerading as a priest, "bless me father for I have sinned" just this and nothing more...this terrorist described Nairac as the bravest man he ever met.....showing perhaps that even IRA murderers can recognise true bravery when matched against their cowardly acts and the histrionics of narcissists like Bobby Sands. Captain Nairacs body has to this day never been recovered, and perhaps never will as it would only show if more evidence was needed the barbarity of the IRA and the perfidy of the nulabour government that betrayed the memory of Brave men such as Captain Nairac.The man died a true hero and a true Catholic...God rest his soul.
