I have spent a very enjoyable last night in Ca watching various Ramone tracks with assorted family members.Especialy interesting was the footage from the Famous 1977 N.Y.E. gig at the Rainbow in London...the reason...footage includes Mr otw (plus techno Bo) going crazy to New Yorks finest sons.Watching a 17 year old me is quite a shock...did I realy spend a freezing 24 hours in london including sleeping on a bench outside Buckingham palace in sub zero temps for a group?...too friggin right I did!...I like the fact that I was that young and that enthusiastic...makes the blood run a little faster just thinking of that wall of white noise...god bless the Ramones. Well at least princess otw will one day see what an idiot her dad was..or in the immortal words of Vinogirl...what a knob jockey!

Saw them at the Santa Cruz Civic in '80 - a double-bill with Bob Marley (wtf?? the strangest pairing, ever) and they were awesome.
