Noel Chavasse V.C. is only remembered in Liverpool by a small park named in his honour and I doubt anybody using the park has ever heard of him. Noel Chavasse won England's greatest gallantry honour not once but twice. He ultimately gave his life for his brother soldiers as he refused help for his wounds whilst others around him needed succour...a true English hero.

I actually heard a news magazine story on him not too long ago. Bless him.
I just hope what they build around this park does not diminish his memory more so.
yea, your english heros are a lot more soppy than our america ones, really just kidding, there is something about the english whe it comes to sacrifice for someone else, they will DO IT
