The Navy's here.
HMS Ark Royal has been visiting Liverpool this weekend and this pic was taken from over the water to show the ship against the Liverpool skyline. We don't have much of a navy nowadays as we need money to pay for nulabours army of gay and transgender Somalian outreach workers...but what we have I'm proud of.Two new large carriers are on order and if they are built then Britain will be able again to project power to all parts of the world. Some people will ask why would we wish to do such a thing? firstly it is a rapidly changing dangerous world we live in and military power of this nature could be needed in as yet unforeseen circumstances...plus how Britain is perceived around the world is positively affected by this projection of technology and power, Oh I nearly forgot..building the carriers will piss off the lefties... that has to be a good thing....Rule Britannia.

I especially like the "piss off the lefties" part.
britannia rules the seas
A country is the projection of its character.
Projecting power starts by catapulting a bunch of NuLAbor weasels off the carrier deck strapped to office chairs, and a whole jobsworth Quango thereafter... :-) That would be fun to see!
pissing of the lefties, LOL!
Did you read the article about your destroyers that don't have their primary weapons anymore to save money?
I think the story was at Theo Spark's blog....
