Is there a doctor in the house?

Whilst out in Napa yesterday Princess OTW had a fall and injured her arm, normally a quiet child she seemed to our dismay to be in rather a lot of pain. As new parents we were a bit shocked and in the hurry to get her to hospital we forgot any form of documentation whatsoever. American readers should understand that in socialist Britain the pro national health service propaganda tells us that unless rich in America ....you suffer. To cut a long story short for family OTW nothing could be further from the truth. The service was excellent and efficient throughout the whole process...except for the signing out! The nurse required no I.D. or evidence at all of our desire or ability to pay the bill. I was very happy with the whole experience but rather perturbed by the fact that perhaps somebody else could have potentially have been stuck with my bill...surely something is wrong here? I would like to add here a thanks to the staff of John Muir hospital....my little Princess is as right as rain...whoopee!

do you remember me tell about my experiences with socialized medicing in your country...long lines, no paperwork though, no emergency system that i could see, 1st come 1st serve, little old ladies flirting with doctors while others holding their bloodied eye behind in the line, but exellent diagnostic skills by the dotors
