True Brit 12

I have been enjoying the clear blue California Sky this week even more than usual as I have been reading of the dire summer back home in England. 68 years ago Britain fought for its very existence under blue Sky's criss crossed by white vapour trails as Young Brits and members of the commonwealth fought to turn back Hitlers Luftwaffe. I have tried to remember whenever possible that the life I lead was made possible by these young boys who flew off into the summer sky not knowing if they would ever return...it is too hard to pick out any single pilot as a representative of these British warriors so I salute all of them....may they never be forgotten...The Few.
