Autumn?

Autumn/fall in California is certainly different than that of a usual autumn at home (this years being rather better) The blue sky's and 80 odd degree temps are strangely at odds with the falling leaves and foggy mornings, but very enjoyable for all that. A trip with the kids to a pumpkin patch was a rather enjoyable experience today.....a little bit of Americana that brought out a little of the kid in me (ok...it doesn't take much I know)

Vinomaker and I go to the Stanly Lane pumpkin patch every year and thoroughly enjoy ourselves. I appreciate the fact that they plant all the corn and sunflowers earlier in the year so visitors benefit from them now.

We don't really have an Autumn here, just an end to the dry season with the sunlight all slanty. ;-) Rain!?
