Fall?

A short ride had family OTW sitting here having lunch today whilst watching dolphins and seals at play in the waves outside. After lunch I spent some time on the neighbouring beach playing in the waves with an excited and adventurous Princess OTW whilst the rest of the family enjoyed the respectable 80 degree sunshine.....the nagging guilt at the thought of my chaps at home labouring away in howling gales was quickly put to rest with another batch of cinnamon ice cream...sorry chaps.

Is that your holiday cottage Thud? I go weak at the knees just thinking of your windowcleaning bill.

If not, then it looks like something to do with Hearst.

Ah the old Cliff House and Sutro Baths - that one went up in a spectacular blaze but "The Plunge" remained intact. My dad swam in those steam-heated fresh and ocean waters.
Still, the re-built smaller version Cliff House makes a very good Bloody Mary.

DC...the baths remind me of some by my home in England,a bracing swim in cold seawater was considered the manly thing to do!

Sounds lovely. Don't be surprised to find a good chunk of the British Blogosphere on your doorstep at some point!

This is evidence of climate change since Mark Twain's time.
