A little bit of Heaven

As my return to England comes closer I have taken to checking the weather at home on a daily basis and the news is....grim. I left during our belated Indian summer and have enjoyed my first autumn in California. For a Brit, autumn here is pretty much like spring , early summer in England except the weather is consistently more pleasant and reliable. I suppose it is winter here but it is pretty hard to tell due to the blue skys and the short shirt sleeve weather that greets one every morning. The trees are shedding their leaves in a seemingly never ending display of amazing colour (pic shows Sonoma this week), and the night is becoming a bit nippy so at least the illusion of winter is present which helps now that Christmas is rearing its head. America does Christmas rather well so family OTW will indulge in the fine weather and seasonal fare on offer with great gusto...its a dirty job but somebody etc etc.

The troops are still slaving away so feel free to call in and take a gander....Princess OTW does worry about the cows.

It was lovely here today - drizzling rain and the chill getting through the jacket. This awaits you. :)

Yeah, it's a dirty job, but somebody's got to do it.., but why YOU and not someone else..? ;-)
