god and guns

I went shopping for ammunition for a shooting session with my nephews on Saturday and got to experience a major difference between America and England first hand. In England I am in the process of applying for a shotgun licence with all the hoop jumping that entails. Here in Utah I just walked into a shop and bought enough rounds to start (and win) a small war with no I.D. and no questions...you just have to love it. Princess OTW is shown above with just a couple of the weapons the chaps have amassed in just a short time, Princess OTW will be supplied with something more fitting at a later date. Despite the best efforts of many, here a lawful individual is still able to arm them selves whether for self defence or for enjoyment, what a difference in the relative lack of trust afforded the poor inhabitants of my own crime ridden nation.

let us to agree to disagree>>>>here in utah i can live quite well and never require a trip to the gun shop>>>if i want to harm someone i just run them down with mty car, or bike since i never drive a car>>>i respect that it is so hard to buy ammunition in your england>>>i was a marksman in the army which proves a pacifist like me can learn the skill to shoot a gun>>with top honors, however i decline to have guns in the house for my grandsons to shoot at each other>>>love you the putz>>>p.s. i am in a defintie minority here since all my neighbors have guns>>.in fact one of my neighbor's grands was accidentally shot just a month ago, and is recruperating quite nicely>>>love the putz, and i do have great affection for you thudly, can't quite understand why

Englands too small for everyone to start shooting their guns around.

It's smaller than most US states. We'd kill each other off in no time.

ill never quite forget walking into a sports shop in the US looking at basket balls, base ball bats, gloves, american football helmets and pads, pump action shot guns, semi automatic weapons, pistols and plenty of ammo. now if this had been in england then maybe just maybe i would have been interested in playing sport at school....maybe

One woulda thought you would have been more careful with the Princess and the firearms (sounds like some warped kind of fairy tale), given your own track record with a rifle when you were not much older than she is - as vinogirl can attest ;)

Pocket...tis true!....thats what comes of not being taught about safety in all things that go bang!, something not lacking now for the princess.

And in Wyoming there is a new Catholic college that permits students to bring their guns with them to school! Alas, they must turn them over to the college chaplain to be locked away until they're needed...for hunting.
