Well sorry but I just don't feel the need...apparently more Pakistanis will turn to terrorism if we don't...big deal, join the queue.In what can only be described as a brain fart, our Prime minister announced last week that there is an unbreakable bond between our two nations...really? I hadn't noticed,nor had anybody else I know. In the article linked, the commentators at the end of the article articulate my and many others feelings with much more breadth and fervour than I ever could, so...pray to Allah and learn to swim folks.

I think it was a fatal mistake by Bush and Blair to give credence to the "terror camp" nations. They could never extend their influence as far as Bush and Blair liked to maintain. I am not belittling 9/11 but it was a one off. Another 9/11 has not and will never be prevented by "westernising" Afghanistan or Pakistan.
Terrorism is easy. If there were that many terrorists about we would have bombs going off all the time.
I think it's one thing to help out a poor country during an emergency, less to rely on it for our security and worse to "big it up" by kowtowing to it.
Those lads can't even get a decent version of the union flag.
The flooding can't be too bad if they can get that "flag" to light. Every been on a washed-out camping holiday?
