A right knees up.
Blogging has been rather light of late I know as a combination of January blues and a smashed up knee have laid me rather low. The years of being the works donkey has resulted in damage to the cartilage and meniscus in my left knee with my right knee trying to equal it in uselessness. Having a leg with the consistency of a wet noodle has certainly slowed me down so this year has gotten off to a rather slow start work wise plus I do miss walking my daughter to school. Like most chaps of a certain age I tend to ignore the cuts bruises, sprains and minor breaks that life sends ones way but this time I may have to offer myself up to the tender mercies of the NHS....bollocks!

Get it fixed, it's better than it dropping off!
Vinogirl is right. Get yourself to a doctor sooner rather than later.
You can get some cheap walking sticks from the car boot, I will look for some at Beeston market today, sympathy?, what's that. ;-)
Albert...don't start going soft on me...oh I see you havn't.
It's not just getting it fixed, it's that fixing it and re-hab takes so much longer these days... My left foot is still giving me return-messages, and there's this spot on my lifting arm where it was never sore before...
the only time you need to see a doctor is if it smells funny and has a odd colour to it......i think you better see a doctor in saying that.
oooo you could get a cane with a sword in it or a single shot rifle.
Don't go near the NHS - you'll be worse off afterwards.
Thud
Nurofen and a support bandage plus Epsom salts in the bath
Dont wear the bandage in the bath woollyback (+:

Sorry to learn you're not well, Thudders. Hope you can get it fixed soon.
I'd love to get your opinion on something and would like to invite you to my blog. Kev has my email address so please drop me a line and I'll send out an invite. Something to comment on while you're convalescing? Hope so.
Your knees do look a little knockknee'ed, but you could do with a haircut ,or should that be a feather cut ,you had one of them once,i seem to remember...
