No hope not much change

The sheer banality of this and the shallow idiocy of all involved makes me despair of the future....both nations are scraping the bottom of the barrel ...although the British MP and her illiterate staff probably lead in their lack of intelligence and honesty....Can anybody say "affirmative action and racial quotas"?

Ruled Britannia

As my summer sojourn winds down I have reluctantly been paying more attention to the news back home in England......and what a difference a summer makes. The increasingly desperate nulabour govt flails around like a diseased animal, biting and destroying everything in reach.This article shows how pointless the govt has become.....passing endless authoritarian laws that increasingly degrade the liberties of once free Brits. Like the film 'Downfall' Brownie and his third rate hangers on seem determined to punish the British population for their lack of faith and also to leave behind a social and economic scorched earth to hamper the incoming conservative govt. The return from a sun drenched California to a damp downtrodden Britain will be harder than ever but Britain needs every person it can get who will hasten the fall of Brownie and his dysfunctional traitors.....I'll do my bit.

Hundreds of years of struggle and suffering and England becomes a first rank nation,standing proudly contented in the knowledge that the best possible in all things have been achieved. 10 years of our socialist,no borders,betray the English people,government and we have this.Couple this with rising T.B. rates,child prostitution and modern slavery and we have arrived slap bang in the dark ages...bring on the plague! Nulabours slogan for next election...."forward to the past comrades".

Guilty

I know in certain cases light vehicles are needed but the death today of 4 more British troops further illustrates the blood this govt has on its hands. The govt and MOD have known for years now that British forces are inadequately equipped to deal with mines and shaped charges but for reasons of parsimony and stubbornness have refused until lately to buy the needed vehicles that conform to mrap standard. Over half the fatal casualties have resulted from mines etc that have shown the army land rover snatch vehicles and wimiks to be little more than deathtraps. Handing cheap victories to Taliban murderers is only going to result in more casualties....no more needless deaths in useless vehicles should be the order of the day.
