One step forward,two blah blah.

Hundreds of years of struggle and suffering and England becomes a first rank nation, standing proudly contented in the knowledge that the best possible in all things have been achieved. 10 years of our socialist,no borders, betray the English people, government and we have this.Couple this with rising T.B. rates, child prostitution and modern slavery and we have arrived slap bang in the dark ages...bring on the plague! Nulabours slogan for next election...."forward to the past comrades".

Say it ain't so Boris.

The final stages of the London Mayoral elections are now producing a flurry of last minute initiatives and quotes from the three major contenders. Its not an unusual tactic to identify various voter groups and then try to placate and mollify them...but Boris Has for me joined the ranks of the wilfully blind when he made this statement. I presume members of his electoral team had a quiet word and made sure that he joined the ranks of those that parrot the tired old line about moderate muslims and people not reading the koran correctly. Boris...who are you kidding?...you don't believe it...I don't believe it and I'm pretty sure millions more of your fellow Londoners and Brits don't. Unlike other election fluff it is something that does harm to us all....it raises false consciousness as to just who and what presents a danger to the very people who you wish to vote for you...be Brave Boris...you where right the first time.

Interesting times.

As nulabours maladministration of the U.K. splutters to its dismal end the fight for America's immediate future is really hotting up.Obamessiah seems to be about to finish off the Hill and Bill show whilst McCain is starting to target the dems for the forthcoming battle. I'm going to have a very busy and exciting time following the usual skulduggery and shenanigans that come with politics as I have a vested interest in the political futures of both nations given my transitory over the water status. I'm hoping for a Conservative govt here and a Republican administration in America...looks like at the moment however I'm going to end up with my choice of Govt here in U.K. as opposed to the situation in the last 10 years. I'm not a great believer in McCain or Cameron..but we do not have a latter day Reagan or Thatcher mores the pity, so we will have to hope that "cometh the hour cometh the man"

Long live the king/queen.

Obama for president...well for this week at least...last week it was Hillary...I think. As an Englishman I find the whole election process here fascinating, amusing and ultimately uplifting. .I know Americans view the whole process with a mixture of disbelief and boredom but its infinitely better than the sham over the water. We now have a leader we never voted for (yes I know we don't directly vote for the P.M.)...a leader who is in fact signing away England's sovereign rights as rapidly as possible. England from this distance seems a place to be pitied as the nation sleepwalks into extinction as an independent entity and as the govt, media and various do gooders destroy whats left of our national culture...its harder to return every time. I can understand why so many Brits have left in the last few years, who wouldn't if possible? The emergence of "white flight" is also understandable(and heartily deplored by nulabour movers and shakers)..heaven forbid decent people of all colours would flee the war zones inner city England has spawned......oh dear!...another bottle of cab franc I think.....where is vinogirl when you need her?
